Hi,
Went to my first support group tonight. For family members with a family member with a mental illness.
I wish I would have seek something like this out years ago .

My mom has schizophrenia. I never had anyone growing up that understood what I was going through as the child of someone with a mental illness. I would love to connect with someone if possible.
Someone tonight at the group suggested this form

Not sure what else.

Thank you for reading .

Blue

Hi Blue,
I"m the moderator here. To engage with other folks in similar situations, I suggest reading and commenting on what other members of this forum have written if the topic interests you, and asking questions you would like to discuss with other people who have a parent with schizophrenia.
Sincerely,
Sophia
